It is our mission at Daybreak Training Services is to empower individuals to develop independence through personal growth by supporting their choices and goals. We believe that through a team approach all individuals’ quality of life can be enhanced.
We are a day treatment center that supports people. We promote individual growth in an environment that encourages and teaches appropriate behavior, increases independence, and enhances each individuals work experience.
The supports we provide vary from simple training in daily living skills to employment training. We believe it is important to provide each individual with a work experience that allows them to earn money, gives them the opportunity to increase their knowledge/skills, and develops a better sense of self worth.
Individuals participate in various work opportunities to earn money. Current activities in our program include sorting, shredding, paper recycling confidential document destruction service, and laundering towels for local salons, and sorting of x-ray films, cleaning various locations i.e., trailers, hotel rooms etc.
We are also licensed by the Utah Department of Human Services and a contracted service provider for the Division of Services for People with Disabilities.
