The Work Activity Center (WAC) assists adults to become more independent at home, at work, and in the community. Through individualized support, we provide strong resources in behavior management, seizure management, physical therapy, sensory stimulation, personal goals achievement, Special Olympics, community exploration, and job sites supports.
We offer onsite work training: learning marketable skills (collating, sorting assembly, and packaging). Supported retirement: Seniors actively plan their activities and participate in community trips. Artistic opportunities: participants engage in running a boutique, painting, music, exercise, and other opportunities of self-expression. Supported employment: job placement, skills training, and ongoing support.
We offer community based training: Opportunities to work and participate in the community.
We offer residential support: 24 hour support to people in their own residences or in WAC's homes.
